Why version 0.9 ? Because I got a weird bug that I try to get rid of. You can click on the map to retrieve the coordinates of the marker, the coordinates in-game (for the admins) and even simply copy the teleport command. There's also tick-boxes to toggle the visibility of the markers based on their categories. In this first version, many markers are placed and some pop-ups are completed or partially completed.
This is a third-party map for the game SCUM. That's when i saw a post here asking if a third party map existed and i thought I could put mine online. Then all there was to do was populating it with the missing informations we could gather in game. I wanted to compile the informations i found in game and online (a lot is from scumdb,and the randomness of the Internet). I'm not a programmer but I can follow instructions and improve from that, I achieved a simple map with markers and little boxes to hide or show them. I choose to use the leaflet API mostly because it's one of the easiest solutions and also cause there's not a lot of possibilities concerning the creation of fictionnal interactive maps. I've started playing a month ago and decided to create an interactive map for my teammates and me.

I'm really sorry for those who have been waiting for this update and I hope that in the future I can play again and create an even better interactive map. If I were the only one making a quality map I would probably fight the bugs till death, but let's be honnest, there a lot of talented map maker that made nice and easy to use maps, with more markers and are going to add lot of good features very soon (I don't doubt it). When playing solo, the framerate and lag spikes are not as terrible, but the crash-freeze-reboot happens even more.Īt first I still tried to update my map cause some people like it and it makes my happy, but I struggle to see the point of fighting those horrible performances and stability issues if neither me or my friend can play to enjoy it and I can't go in game to find the new markers/town names/POIs. My buddy can run it well but the game crash periodically and tell there's corrupted files that need to be downloaded again.
To add to this, after 15mn the game randomly freeze my whole computer and I have to do a hard reset. I have to set the game to an even lowest settings to have a decent framerate (it looks like a PS1 game) and still get MASSIVES lag spikes every minutes or so with less than 10fps. IMPORTANT INFORMATION:Since the 0.5 update, the game is unplayable for me and my buddy.
